We actually prefer the spoken word as a means of communication. However, in peak periods we would like to put the terms in writing as well.

Scope of the contract

These general terms and conditions govern the legal relationship between you and our hotel Belvedere. Our written confirmation (including e-mails) serves as a contract.

In case of reservations on the day of arrival, the booking is binding despite no written confirmation.

Rates

All rates include VAT and taxes. The rates can be changed by the hotel should the guest wish to change an existing booking for a different arrangement e.g. longer/shorter stays. Rates shown in Euro are a standard rate. Foreign currency will be calculated at the daily rate exchange. All published rates are subject to change.

Minimum stay

For some specific periods during the year, we have a minimum stay arrangement which will be advised by the hotel upon request.

Should wish to to book less nights and it is possible in agreement with the hotel we reserve the right to calculate an alternative rate for the requested period.

Cancellation terms

In case of a definite booking for which you have received a written confirmation from us we reserve the right to demand partial or full payment in advance. In our confirmation we will advise you of the amount payable which can be paid by credit card or bank settlement. Up to 30 days before arrival (for bookings over Christmas and New Year up to 1st November of the year) cancellations are free. After we charge 3 nights of the booked arrangement. In case of early departure we charge the originally booked period but only a maximum of 3 nights.

All cancellations will be re-confirmed to you in writing.

For the legal relationship between you and the hotel Belvedere, SWISS LAW IS APPLICABLE.
