Curling: play or enjoy learning to pla this fascinating sport which combines dexterity with sporting ability, in the open-air curling of Wengen. Wengen's Ice stadium boasts 11 rinks, three under cover. Around 30 curling cup competitions take place during the winter season. Instruction is given throughout the winter.

 

Ice sport: the open-air ice rink (5000 sq.m) and artificial ice rink (45x60 m) provide optimal conditions for ice skating.

 

Tobogganing: Tobogganing  and bobs can be hired at local sports shops. You will be spoilt for choice with a wide variety of super long, thrilling toboggan runs.

 

Winter walks: Enjoy well maintained trails through stanning Alpine scenery. Winter-walk to impressive vantage points or to the inviting terrace of a mountain hotel.

 

Snow-shoe-Trekking: A delightfully different way to explore Wengen's wonderful winterworld. Discover snowshoe trekking - guided treks on traditional showshoes. Try a one day trek around snow covered villages or make a two day trek with a fun-filled fondue evening and overnight accommodation in a high-alpine mountain hut.

 

Snowboard: Wide pistes, perfect powder slopes, cool snow bars and new Fun Park at the Bumpslift on Wengernalp.

 

Ski touring: Looking for kilometres of perfect powder snow runs admists unspoilt eternal glacier world? Take a trip into the high-alpine world with one of our qualified mountain guides.

 

Cross country skiing: Alpine topography is naturally blessed with many areas suitable for Nordic cross country skiing. But cross country skiers are well catered in the lovely Lauterbrunnen Valley. The 12 km Lauterbrunnen-Stechelberg piste glides along the banks of the river into the far end of the Valley.

 

Ski races for guests: Become a downhill racer! Take part in the ski races for guests or take a Swiss Ski test.

 

Ski Kindergarten: Friendly, expert care and plenty of interesting activities will keep your little ones happy. In Wengen, the PLAYHOUSE for children in the Sports Pavillon.

Torchlight skiing: Join the nighttime torchlight skiing fun-run organized regularly by the ski school. After feasting on fondue at one of the cosy mountain restaurants, it's time to venture out into the star-lit night! Ski down towards the twinkling lights of the village, accompanied by an experienced ski instructor.
