Wengen is located on a wind-protected sun terrace, high above the Lauterbrunnen Valley at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Wengen is a car-free resort and an ideal departure point for excursions to many attractive destinations as Männlichen and Kleine Scheidegg, including Jungfraujoch -Top of Europe- where you see for example the Aletsch which is the longest ice stream of the Alps as well as the Sphinx which is the highest view-point of the Alps. Wengen offers excellent hiking conditions.
